


The Northernmost community of Harbor Country Sawyer is graced with numerous country vineyards. An occasional curio shop, fruit stand and local grille define this towns “hustle and bustle”. Sawyers claim to fame is the Warren Dunes State Park, with several hundred acres of dune lands, and beaches and is one of the largest state parks in Michigan. Many beach lovers in the area believe Sawyers large super sugary fine beaches are a direct result from Warren Dunes towering majestic dunes some soaring as high as 240 feet. Wildlife abounds in the trails which meander nearby through Warren Woods Preserve, founded by Edward K. Warren a pioneering conservationist at the turn of the century. The primeval forest delights all in every season with rare wild flowers and especially during Michigan’s colorful fall season where you will find Wild Black Walnuts.
