


The Grand Mere area is a unique and secluded setting, popular with many outdoor and sporting enthusiasts. Its visitors and residents alike enjoy the Grand Mere State Park, Michigan’s largest State Park on Lake Michigan. The park is famous for its 1000 acres of beautiful undeveloped woods and sand dunes, 985 acres of hiking trails, one miles of stunning Lake Michigan coastline for sunbathing and swimming. With three geologically ancient lakes behind the dunes, fishing is also a popular past time. The area is popular in all seasons with cross country skiing over miles of natural dune land trails. Grand Mere is one of the few State Parks that is “Dog Friendly”
